Terms and Conditions

The auction is presented by Big Orange Liquidations. Our auction holds events on various websites including Hibid.com, Liveauctioneers.com, Invaluable.com, and many others. Each site has its own rules for doing business. Bidders: Any person registering or participating in any way agrees to be bound by and accept these terms and conditions. All bidders must meet the auctioneer's qualifications to be allowed to bid. Any bidder not in good standing with the auctioneer may be barred from bidding or disqualified at the Auctioneers' Sole and Limitless discretion. At any live auction a bidder can be barred from attending at any time and asked to leave the premises. Formal action may be taken by the auctioneer before, during, or even after the auction. If a bidder is registered as an entity the person doing the bidding on behalf of the entity agrees to personally guarantee the payment for lots won. Buyers Premium: All bids are subject to a buyer's premium that is in addition to any successful bid. Buyers Premium in general will be stated in the details of each auction. The standard buyer’s premium is 15% for all general merchandise with no minimum. Handling: We charge a minimum $5 HANDLING Fee per parcel. This fee covers packing materials and labor costs of fulfilling your shipment. Example - Postage $8.00+ Insurance $4.25+ Handling $5.00 = $17.25 Total. We will combine lots into one parcel but not lots from different auctions. Storage: Storage for later pickup is $275 per month. It will be billed upfront on a full monthly basis only. Buyer agrees that items are their property after winning bid. If you choose to store with us and you want your items insured then you must obtain your own renter's policy and ensure you maintain proper coverage. Hibid Terms: All items are sold in "As Is" condition. Neither the consignor nor the auction company warrants the authenticity or physical condition of any item. We take our time and try to note any and every important aspect of all items. The descriptions, weights and measures, and designated precious metal or gemstone attributes are for convenience only. Preview is on an item basis only for lots with a perceived value of above $100. To schedule, a preview bidder must call before 48 hours of the auction start.

This includes the price of items plus 15% buyer's premium, 7% TN sales tax, and a $5 handling fee. You will receive a second invoice for your shipping and handling and will be charged separately for this, as we ship by weight and buyer is responsible for shipping costs. Cards are accepted when you register for the auction. We also accept better barter as a form of payment. If you are intending to pay with better barter you must let us know at registration of the action.

Shipping / Pick Up

Items can be picked up or will be shipped with in 5 business of purchase. If you are picking up your items you can schedule for pick up Thursday 9/29, Friday 9/30, Monday 10/3, Tues 10/4, Wed 10/5 between the hours of 10 am and 4pm. Shipping: Let us know if you require services outside of pick up! Buyers assume all responsibility for shipping, handling, and or local delivery fees. At Big Orange Liquidation auction we have a full-service shipping department we built this department to put our auction a step above most Auction Houses. You may use our shipping services or enlist the licensed or bonded service of your choice. Successful bidders or their designated agents may pick up winnings at our warehouse or onsite at our remote auctions. You will have 5 buisness days to pick your items up after the auction ends! The main pickup address for our warehouse is 1348 Milligan Hwy Johnson City, TN 37601. We ship items via various carriers: USPS, UPS, FedEx, and others. All items over $50 require the purchase of insurance. When unpacking if boxes are damaged take pictures and hold on to the box until you contact the carrier to file your claim. The Auction House will not be able to assist with this. Local & Extended Local delivery: Smalls - Less than 4 boxes 24x24 (Zone A - $25 - Johnson City, Elizabethton) (Zone B - $30 - Boones Creek, Piney Flats, Bluff City, Jonesboro) (Zone C - $40 - Hampton, Kingsport, Bristol TN, Blountville) (Zone D - $50 - Greeneville, Roan Mtn, Mtn City) If a Van is required for transport the fee is as follows: ($50 - Zone A) ($60 - Zone B) ($80 - Zone C) ($125 - Zone D) Outside Zone D up to 300 miles is a flat charge of $45 and $1.30 per mile. If the items are larger there may be an additional fee of $75 for additional helpers. Mileage is calculated on a round-trip basis. If shipping large or odd shape items we will need to complete a custom quote. Extremely large or heavy items will require hiring a licensed and bonded rigger or professional equipment & moving service which the buyer will be responsible for contacting and setting up
